The challenge? Be at the center of a global leader in full-service engineering, consulting, and construction. Our Canadian Business Manager jobs provide you the opportunity to working closely with the construction, engineering, and senior management segments of our business in developing action plans and strategies. Each day, you will be responsible providing a financial, risk management,?and business perspective to improve management decisions in order to achieve the business objectives . You should be a self-motivated professional and with 15 years of experience working on large industrial EPCM projects and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally in a Business Management role.

Our Canadian Business Manager :
? Manage the budget and forecasting processes
? Manage the monthly reporting process ? providing both the results and, more importantly, explanations of what the numbers mean
? Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis
? Serve as an ?early warning" clearing house to senior management for significant business deviations from plan and forecast
? Responsible for providing oversight on major proposals from a pricing, cash flow, contract and risk perspective
? Actively participate in major project reviews
? Review and provide guidance on all teaming agreements and Joint Ventures
? Serve as the point person from a business standpoint for all potential investments and acquisitions
? Assist in developing Strategic Plan commitments and implementation strategies
? Interface regularly with Business Managers across the enterprise to share best practices, provide/receive mentorship and facilitate continuous improvement in risk management and operational approaches
? Coordinate with Corporate Shared Services ? departments (Legal, Insurance, Tax, Treasury, etc.) on issues related to E&C activities
? Ensure that company policy and risk management procedures are understood and implemented

Basic Qualifications:
? 10- 15 years experience working in finance & accounting.
? Experience in the engineering/construction industry particularly with at-risk business models (i.e. EPC, Design-Build, FFP, Performance-based contracting).
? Experience with multiple contracting and pricing approaches including value-based pricing. ?
? Bachelors ? in Business, Finance or Accounting
