Everyone living on the stage of the world is wondering what happiness is and how to be a happy person. However, whether every one of us knows exactly what happiness is? I think it depends.
What is happiness? Different people have different opinions. Some may regard happiness as having enough time to play computer games; some may think having enough money to buy Cheap RIFT PLAT and Rift CD keys is happiness; and some may think keeping healthy is the greatest happiness. No matter what you relate happiness to, from where I stand, happiness is whatever can give us a feeling of pleasure and satisfaction.
In ancient days, happiness might just mean having sufficient food so that people could get rid of hunger, for ancient days were a time of hardship, people had to suffer hunger and usually died in a very young age. This may sound unbelievable to today's kids who are raised in a better-off family and we have taken it for granted to have enough food and clothes.
Ancient time has gone forever. After hundreds of thousands of years' development, most of the modern people don't worry about food any more. Thus, they have totally different definitions for happiness. Modern people' dream may be to become a billionaire, to be a famous star, or to have a villa. People may be running after these during all their life time. But even if they make it in the end, some people won't feel really happy. Today people pursue more mental enjoyment, but often they can't get it, because they mix the meanings of money and happiness. Money doesn't mean happiness.
In my opinion, happiness is very simple. If we have a positive mood and are always ready to find happiness, it will be everywhere around us. Maybe a smile from a stranger, a sunny day, or a real friend could be true happiness.
